The City of Seattle is going through some exciting changes, and we have the opportunity to bring in an energetic and positive Workers' Compensation Analyst to be part of the in-house team with the Seattle Department of Human Resources (SDHR).
In this role, you will be part of a team of nine and will act as a consultant to SDHR and other City departments. You would be aligned with one or more departments, with the aim of building strong working relationships with your customers, acting as the point of contact for employees, and dedicating yourself to an all-star level of customer service. You will be the adjudicator and claims manager for a caseload with those departments, with a wide variety of claims.
This position offers a unique set of challenges and rewards. The Workers' Compensation unit is restructuring many roles and responsibilities, in addition to standardizing policies, practices, and procedures. We are aligning to a highly consultative model that supports the health and well-being of essential City workers, such as Firefighters, Police Officers, and Lineworkers.
